Communication Matters Awards Celebrations Evening 2025

I really enjoy Communication Matters' award night. This evening was full of surprises. Big congratulations to every winner here. The room was huge without the tables and looked more real with everything in it. The energy was building up for DJ Oli all evening. I was very nervous about this gig, but I smashed it. CM 2025 was brilliant — this gig is bigger than ever.

Smartbox and everyone who was shouting “one more song” — please shout louder next time!

The only bad part of the evening was my set got delayed, so I only had a short time to perform.

I think 450+ people attended — by far the biggest gig I’ve done!

Lovely catching up with my AAC friends — Ruby, Alex, Gregor, Toby, Helen, Eva, Adam, Jamie and many more. Just like being at 1 Voice again.

The sound people from AV & C Event Production did fab work — they were amazing, helping me with the sound.
